Choosing a Medium

Picking the perfect medium...

SAPS wanted to get a wide variety of responses from the mediums chosen. We only had one requirement - that they respond via e-mail. Since sometimes recording results can be difficult, we wanted to be able to print direct quotes. What we post about their visions will be exactly what we say, followed by their exact responses.

We believed that there were two possibilities if mediums really do commune with the dead - either they don't charge much because their services are so important they don't find it necessary to take the money of the desperate and grieving, or they charge a lot for their services because they're just that good.

The format for asking questions varies from medium to medium. Some charge by the question, some have bulk packages (like 3 questions for $19.95), and some charge a hefty fee that covers any and all questions and will get a response of at least 300 words. The readings we chose ranged from $15 (for three questions) to $75 for an unlimited number of questions. We decided that this fairly represented the different formats.

Five different mediums fit this criteria. Rather than choose one and get the response of, "Well, THAT person isn't very good," we wanted a wide enough range to show whether or not mediums on the whole are worth the time and effort involved in getting a reading.
