Belcourt Castle Re-creation

SAPS Correspondent Jonathan Takes a Look at Rotating Reflections.

A piece of footage on a paranormal investigation group's web site reveals a ghostly mirror whose reflection seems to rotate. While viewing this, it came to the attention of SAPS that in fact, the mirror itself was moving.

SAPS correspondent Jonathan stepped in for a re-creation. Using string, he was able to create the same effect.

Thank you, Jonathan, for proving once again that paranormal footage can be re-created, no ghosts involved!

Update:

Many of you have written in to say that the re-created footage is not similar enough to the Belcourt Castle footage. SAPS has listened to your e-mails, and Jonathan has revisited the rotating reflection to demonstrate. In the re-creation, Jonathan has slowed the rate of camera motion in order to show how the movement of the camera can offset the motion of the mirror and make it appear as though the mirror is stationary.
